TGIF Concerts in the Park
Carlsbad's TGIF Concerts in the Parks offers great music, plenty of room to dance, picnicking, free shuttle buses, fun hands-on art activities for the kids.
TGIF, recently recognized as one of the top 5 outdoor concert series in the nation by USA TODAY’s 10 Best's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards, has grown into one of the city’s most highly anticipated and beloved summer series. Originally known as “TGIF Jazz In the Parks,” the TGIF concert series began in 1986 and is San Diego County’s longest-running free outdoor concert series presented by a municipality. Every year, friends, families and neighbors have come together to enjoy music in Carlsbad’s parks.

June 21 & 28, July 5 & 12 - Stagecoach Community Park
July 19 & 26, Aug. 2 - Calavera Hills Community Park
Aug 9 & 16 - Alga Norte Community Park
The concerts, held at 6 p.m. each Friday, are free and open to the public.
