San Diego REPertory Theatre (The REP) is located in the heart of the historic Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. Founded in 1976 by current artistic director Sam Woodhouse and D.W. Roberts, The REP has always had a special place in San Diego's cultural landscape. The REP produces contemporary plays, re-imagined classics and world premieres not likely to be seen in other local theatres.
