The San Diego Symphony offers a wide range of concert experiences under the leadership of Music Director Rafael Payare. Its indoor home is the stunning and newly renovated Jacobs Music Center (formerly Copley Symphony Hall) in Downtown San Diego. The San Diego Symphony's indoor performances have included the Jacobs Masterworks series, offering traditional classical repertoire and featuring such guest artists as Horacio Gutierrez, Joshua Bell, Lang Lang and Gil Shaham; the Winter Pops series, featuring popular guest artists such as Jennifer Holliday, Michael Feinstein, Robert Klein, Bill Conti and Brian Stokes Mitchell; the Family Festival, featuring family-friendly concerts; and the Symphony Exposed, a fascinating series of concerts that examine classical works from entertaining and thought-provoking angles.
The symphony stages outdoor performances at the beautiful Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on San Diego's bayfront, presenting classical favorites, pop music and more.
