California Fire Updates

Below are up-to-date resources for visitors to San Diego.

San Diego is Currently Unaffected by Fire

Our hearts go out to the first responders and communities in Los Angeles County affected by the devastating wildfires. We are grateful that San Diego and our tourism community are able to offer a safe place to stay for those affected by the wildfires, with special accommodation rates and offers listed below.

San Diego, located 120 miles south, remains unaffected by the ongoing wildfires. The San Diego Tourism Authority works closely with local authorities to stay updated on local fire conditions and shares any potential impacts to travelers via social media and on this website.
