Aldino Parchment

As Director of Information and Technology at the San Diego Tourism Authority, Aldino Parchment provides strategic oversight and innovative transformation by delivering technology that enhances the customer experience.

With more than 20 years of experience in IT, Parchment has a diverse global background in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, health care, higher education, corporate sales and marketing. Previously, he served as the head of IT for a distribution and logistics global organization, aligning technology with strategic objectives. As leader of the IT department, he was the change agent for the organization's initiative to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness by implementing IT governance structure and business process improvement.

Parchment also serves on the advisory board of SIM San Diego, a technology association focused on building industry brand awareness, growing the technology community and attracting and maintaining top talent in San Diego.

He has a Master of Information Systems Management degree from Keller School of Management and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Antillean University.
