Join us for the San Diego Architectural Foundation’s (SDAF’s) annual Context Vol. 5 (CV5) program. The event will focus on Tijuana as an emerging international creative nexus for the fine, decorative and culinary arts, and a hotspot where the worlds of architecture, design, art, food, wine and more converge and intersect in exciting, intriguing and sometimes unexpected ways. Come for the food, wine, and beer and stay to explore the architecture, design, and culture at Context Vol. 5: The Tijuana Renaissance/Feast for the Heart, this year’s edition of the SDAF’s annual educational event on June 1, 2018. CV5: The Tijuana Renaissance offers a cross-border, multi-part program that includes a special VIP trans-border bus tour leaving from San Diego including refreshments along the way, a free afternoon art exhibit, a ticketed evening reception and forum. The CV5 Culinary Fair offers local food by eight of Tijuana’s premier chefs, wine from three different wineries and locally brewed beer hosted in the garden of the Casa de la Cultura, followed by the four-part evening forum. Each part of the forum explores an important facet of the Tijuana Renaissance through the architects, designers, chefs, and other creatives who are making it happen.
