Spring Garden & Butterfly Festival
The Spring Garden & Butterfly Festival at Cuyamaca College is a family-friendly community celebration of spring and a greener future that attracts more than 3,000 visitors annually.
The festival features various kid friendly activities such as tour of the Butterfly Pavilion, Butterfly Releases, the Pollinator Party & the Butterfly Discovery Lab, an appearance by Ms. Smarty-PlantsTM and Storytime with Miss Metamorphosis. Kids are encouraged to dress as a caterpillar or their favorite winged pollinator for the Pollinator Party.
Activities at Cuyamaca College include programs, exhibitors and demonstrations that will help you become a better gardener and learn how to conserve our precious resources. The renowned Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture department will be holding its biggest plant sale of the year.
