Rooftop Cinema Club San Diego, the iconic venue beneath the stars that revolutionized the outdoor movie-going experience during its debut season in 2018, returns to the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Time your visit to take in the sun setting over downtown San Diego, watch a movie under the stars, bask in the full moon at midnight or enjoy the warmth of the sun in the daytime. Regardless of the time of day, you are guaranteed a stunning view of the San Diego skyline.
Rooftop Cinema Club is revolutionizing the outdoor movie-going experience as a place where friends and loved ones gather to enjoy amazing films, fantastic food, and top-shelf drinks, all while lounging in the moonlit shadow of the Downtown San Diego skyline. And as if that isn't enough of a draw in and of itself, Rooftop Cinema Club's guests are treated to state-of-the-art HD video, studio-quality wireless headphones, soft lounge-style deck chairs and cozy blankets for cool nights. Rooftop Cinema Club is open to adults 18 and over. At the box office, we offer an assortment of classic cinema concessions including fresh popcorn (vegan), candy, and soft drinks. If you’re craving something heartier, we also have ballpark style food such as hot dogs, large pretzels, and nachos.
Guests can self-park in the Manchester Grand Hyatt's parking garage and receive one free hour of validation with any food or beverage purchase on-site, including the Rooftop Concession Stand (excluding candy and popcorn). Rooftop Cinema Club's food and drink menu is unlike any other. While the scent of delicious hot popcorn is inescapable, food offerings at the concession stand include unique and San Diego-flavored dishes that will tempt even the pickiest of palates, while its beverage menu includes a variety of signature cocktails along with a host of craft-beer, IPA and wine options.
Rooftop Cinema Club guests can also come early or stay late and enjoy 15% off food and drink at one of Grand Hyatt San Diego's many onsite restaurants. Sip signature cocktails 40 stories above San Diego Bay at Top of the Hyatt, dine on locally sourced sustainable seafood at the waterfront Sally's Fish House & Bar, or sample San Diego's finest craft beer selection at Brew30 California Taps.
