It all starts with Future Stars Friday, where the sport’s stars of tomorrow compete in five Juvenile (two-year-old) races. The non-stop action continues on Saturday where the Breeders’ Cup will crown nine more World Champions across different surfaces and divisions, including the season-defining $7 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic.
In the world of horse racing, the Breeders' Cup is the year-end international championship of the sport. In short: “Racing’s Super Bowl.” The two-day event will attract the best horses and jockeys from around the world to Del Mar.
Enjoy picnic-style seating throughout the Infield, allowing for a variety of views. Additionally, there will be a large bar with covered seating featuring a selection of signature cocktails, craft beers and premium wine offerings. Video boards for viewing the races as well as betting windows will ensure that you don't miss any of the action on the track.

For more than sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately eight to ten weeks each year - from early March through early May - literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California.
