PRIMETIME Sports and Snapdragon Stadium proudly announce the return of Tour Águila to Southern California. The Liga MX clash between Club América and Xolos de Tijuana takes place on Sunday, March 26th at 2:00 p.m. at San Diego’s state-of-the-art Snapdragon Stadium.
The legendary site that Jack Murphy Stadium and Qualcomm Stadium once called home is now the ground on which Snapdragon Stadium proudly stands. This will be the first men’s professional soccer match to take place at Snapdragon Stadium.
Club América is not only Mexico’s most-followed team, but it is also the most popular soccer team in all of North America. The Águilas have a solid fan base in Southern California and look to continue vying for a playoff spot in the current tournament.
Xolos de Tijuana and their cross-border fanbase is the most unique in the Americas and they will look to show the soaring Eagles that San Diego is also their home turf
There will be a Fan Fest taking place prior to the game outside the stadium starting at 11:00 a.m. consisting of live music, food, team mascot, championship trophies, legends, and much more.
