Who we are:

At Adventure Whale Watching we specialize in fast-moving, fun boat tours on Navy Seal Rigid Inflatable Boats (R.I.B.s). We are one of the only year-round Whale & Dolphin Watching companies in San Diego! Our boats set us apart because they are low profile which creates stability so it eliminates the aggressive rocking that you experience on the bigger, slow-moving boats. Our boats are also faster than typical whale watching tours which means that we are able to cover more area allowing us to see more and get closer to the wildlife. We have a small number of passengers per boat which will ensure that the boat is never crowded and that each of the guests gets a personalized experience with 360 degree views from every seat! 

Educational:

Our captains are also naturalists and marine biologists who will educate you about the wildlife, the boats, and give you some history about San Diego! We have NOAA Marine Mammal Identification Guides we use to help passengers learn about and identify the potential species we can see on the tour. We also have tide charts and Boating Safety Information. We also talk about the Marine Mammal Protection Act, Entanglements, and Environmental Conservation. We may even pick up some balloons or water bottles if we find garbage in the ocean to help our marine friends!

Safety:

Our tours are guided by United States Coast Guard certified captains and naturalists aboard military decommissioned Rigid Inflatable Boats (R.I.B.s). These low-profile boats are some of the safest boats on the water! Additionally, we offer each passenger a life vest and the choice of a snow suit or a military survival suit to keep them warm and dry while on the boat.

 Winter excursions, between December 15th & March 31st, are offered daily at 8:30am, 11:30am, and 2:30pm.
 Summer excursions, between April 1st & October 14th, are offered daily at 8:30, 12:00pm, & 3:30pm.                                                                                                                                                         Fall excursions, between October 15th & December 14th, are offered daily at 8:30 & 12:00pm.

Pricing:
 The price for 2.5 - 3 hour Public Whale Watching tours are $119 plus tax per guest. Private Whale Watching tours are offered for $720 plus tax for up to 6 passengers.                                                               For up to 10 passengers, private tours are offered for $1,195 plus tax. Please call to accommodate groups larger than 6. We also offer 2 hour Bay tours or 4 hour Los Coronados Tours.                                 Please call to learn about these tours.
