The Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is proud to support arts in Oceanside and the surrounding communities. From the Oceanside Days of Art to annual festivals celebrating music and film, it is here to bring quality artistic, visual, performance and musical arts to our community for you to enjoy.
Over the last decade or so, Oceanside has begun to nurture its cultural arts. Our area is filled with incredibly talented performers/musicians. The city of Oceanside deserves to showcase its talent. And the performers deserve to showcase their talents for their community.
The 25 Years of OCAF History
"The Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation, headed by Carol Mitchell during all those years, was a godsend" - Randall Mitchell, Founding President of Oceanside Museum of Art.
"OCAF was committed to the museum concept and formed an organizing committee to create a museum" - Rob Shaffer, author of OMA The Founding Years.
"The Cultural Arts Foundation, the people in it...a whole tremendous effort that came from the community side that said, 'this is something we can do.' That's how it started to become a reality" - Tom Wilson, Oceanside City Manager.
