Our tours have been the subject of numerous documentaries and have provided the means for research and film teams to explore the Baja area throughout the last two decades.

Hand-picked Naturalists
Members of our naturalist staff have been chosen for their ability to guide, entertain and inform. On shore, they will lead informative nature walks, in the evenings present slide and film shows, and in all cases be available to answer any questions you might have about the areas being explored.
Providing many of the comforts of larger cruise expeditions, Pacific SeaFari® expeditions maintain an informal, small-group atmosphere and deliver personal attention and service from a well-trained and experienced crew.
Our smaller expedition size minimizes the impact to the areas we visit and adds to the overall enjoyment in exploring those wilderness areas.

Our natural history program was developed by Dr. Theodore J. Walker. Noted author, lecturer and researcher, Dr. Walker led more than 100 trips to Laguna San Ignacio and the surrounding offshore islands. Author of the Whale Primer, he was considered the world's foremost authority on the California gray whale.
