The Fleet Science Center invites guests who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience to Accessibility Mornings. On the third Saturday of every month, visitors can enjoy admission to the exhibit galleries in a quieter setting, an hour before the museum opens to the public, and a special film screening with house lights on and a lower soundtrack volume. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum all day.

Gather with family and friends around the fire at a rink-side or ocean-side lounge at Frostbite Lounge – A Place to Chill. Enjoy plush seating with options for 4-8 people around a roaring fire pit with full food and beverage service. Choose from your favorite holiday-themed libations and bites as you enjoy watching the holiday atmosphere.

59 ACRES is a poetic, meditative and innovative work from Los Angeles-based artist Marike Splint offers new ways of seeing and listening as it navigates you through the physical, cultural and geographical landscapes we inhabit, in search of the extraordinary amidst the mundane.

First commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse for the 2024 WOW Festival, 59 ACRES will be available for you to explore and enjoy for free anytime during daylight hours through June 2025.
