Conservation has never been as beautiful as the 5-acre botanical showcase that is The Water Conservation. Featuring meandering pathways through a lush, but drought-tolerant plant palette that hails from Mediterranean regions around the world, as well as stunning native plants, The Garden inspires visitors to create a sustainable landscape of their dreams. And does it with charm and whimsy.
The Water Conservation Garden opened in 1999, and in 2009 was voted by Sunset Magazine as one of the Top 10 Gardens in the West. The Garden is touted for its Ms. Smarty Plants children's environmental education programs and assemblies, weekend gardening workshops, and exciting gardening festivals and plant sales.
