The California Center for the Arts, Escondido is the cultural center of North San Diego County. The Center's sprawling 12 acre campus houses a 1,523-seat Concert Hall, a 406-seat Center Theater, a visual arts museum, art and dance studios, and a conference center with meeting and banquet facilities. Along with its extensive performing arts season featuring Ben Folds and the San Diego Symphony, the Time Jumpers with Vince Gill, and Shaping Sound, the Center runs an extensive education program and produces free community events, such as the Jazz Jam Sessions, Holiday Tree Lighting, Day of the Dead, 4th of July and First Wednesdays performances.
