Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book. Back for another incredible year, the family favorite features the songs “Santa for a Day,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” and “Welcome, Christmas (Fah Who Doraze),” the delightful carol from the popular animated version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Celebrate the holidays as the Old Globe Theatre is once again transformed into the snow-covered Who-ville, right down to the last can of Who-hash.

59 ACRES is a poetic, meditative and innovative work from Los Angeles-based artist Marike Splint offers new ways of seeing and listening as it navigates you through the physical, cultural and geographical landscapes we inhabit, in search of the extraordinary amidst the mundane.

First commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse for the 2024 WOW Festival, 59 ACRES will be available for you to explore and enjoy for free anytime during daylight hours through June 2025.

Enjoy a fusion of the color and traditions of both Mexican & American Christmas songs with Mariachi Sol de Mexico’s A Merry-achi Christmas. This family-friendly show is a unique fiesta of favorite holiday tunes from both sides of the border, brought to life with the blazing sounds of a world-renowned Mariachi ensemble.
