The Fleet Science Center invites guests who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience to Accessibility Mornings. On the third Saturday of every month, visitors can enjoy admission to the exhibit galleries in a quieter setting, an hour before the museum opens to the public, and a special film screening with house lights on and a lower soundtrack volume. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum all day.

The celebrated artistic dream team of Ken and Stephanie Goldman will guide you through the fascinating history and exciting future of watermedia art, showcasing six decades of creativity, transformation, and bold experimentation. This event will highlight how watermedia has evolved—from traditional techniques to contemporary innovations that are reshaping the art world today.  There will be a Hands-on segment to show and describe new materials, techniques and tools.

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents “Between the Lines”, juried by award-winning artist, Joan Merrick. The water-based media exhibition runs Dec 29, 2024 to Feb 1, 2025, at our Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Opening Reception is Friday, Jan 3, 5-8 pm with over 95 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts.
